B2B Sales Executive | AREA42
AREA42 is looking for a senior sales profile with experience in fintech and B2B, capable of identifying and contacting C-level prospects.
Task objectives
1. New Revenue Generation
This involves identifying and contacting new prospects, conducting effective presentations, and negotiating contracts that result in new business partnerships and/or increased revenue with existing clients.
2. Leading KPI’s
Our organisation is driven by KPIs, using our HubSpot CRM. Prospection activities will be registered accordingly.
3. Soft goals
a. Acquire and demonstrate a deep understanding of BNPL solutions, the broader financial technology landscape, and industry trends
b. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organisations
c. Work closely together with the team, provide market feedback and suggest initiatives or improvements. Provide valuable market insights and competitive intelligence to the marketing and product teams
d. Maintain an updated and well-managed sales pipeline using the CRM system. Regularly review and update the status of prospects, leads, and ongoing deals to ensure accurate forecasting.
Who your prospects are
Business owners and finance managers of B2B ecommerce platforms and marketplaces who seek to improve cash flow for their business and their customers through delayed payments.
Your responsibilities
- Seek and identify new business opportunities by contacting and negotiating deals with potential customers
- Develop leads from personal outreach, marketing campaigns, trade fair attendance and networking efforts
- Identify the high-level needs of prospects, verifying the fit for our solution
- Drive negotiations and successfully close win-win customer contracts, meeting sales KPIs
- Manage activity and pipeline in Hubspot to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers, engaging the support team as needed for new customer integration
- Regularly deliver customer and product feedback to the support team
Your profile
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success; at least 2 years experience in technology, saas, fintech, payments or banking
- Professional-level spoken and written Dutch or French skills (for sales) combined with professional-level spoken and written English skills (spoken internally)
- Strong communications skills in writing, presenting and pitching
- Ability to lead negotiations involving custom commercial agreements
- Strong interest in technology and/or finance
- Ability to proactively solicit, listen, and welcome constructive feedback, and adjust quickly
- Successful experience growing a product or region from scratch is a plus
